Step 1: Make a Health Budget

A health budget is the share of your take-home pay you dedicate to improving your health for the short-term and long-term.
Here's how financial experts recommend you spend your income:
| Percent | Category | Added Up |
|---|---|---|
| 30% | Housing | 30% |
| 20% | Food | 50% |
| 20% | Savings/Investing | 70% |
| 20% | Fun | 90% |
That only gets you to 90%. I recommend specifically dedicating the last 10% to your most important investment: your health.
You're too busy to spend hours researching what actually works. I'll tell you exactly what I'd tell my patients: how much you should set aside, and where your money is best spent.
